About Me

"The Lord is my light, and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" That being said, I believe in the Lord my God with unyielding faith. I have Him to thank for everything and it's Him who's helping me make right. I've made a lot of mistakes through my twenty-one years of existence, but I believe I've most definitely learned from them. I'm a former high school druggie drop-out that has one more shot at redemption which I'm not taking for granted. Don't think I'm not educated, because you'd be wrong. Although I didn't finish school, I was a mere three credits shy of a high school diploma. Yes, stupid. I know. As of right now, I'm working as much as I can to save money to pursue my passion; the culinary arts. Am I good at it? I like to think so, but that's what I love about cooking; you can't please everyone and it's never the same thing twice. My family is life. If you can't handle my family, then quite frankly, you can't handle me. My mom was the most important person in my life and still is. I wouldn't be the man I am today if it wasn't for her. I'll always remember her. My dad was always there for me, though we had some problems. He's not in the states anymore but I still love him. I have two sisters and one brother, all older. Also, four lovely nieces, and two great nephews. They are the reason I am who I am. My friends are amazingly complicated, but that's why I love them. I thank God for my life every single day and wouldn't have it any other way. By any means, don't, for one second, think I'm a good man. I am a man, and only man.

My Interests

learning guitar, writing, the redskins, flat soda, new shoes, meeting random people, staying in, going out, movies, music, frozen skittles, random facts, the internet, showering, boardgames, dressing up, dressing down, sleep, camping, road trips, people watching, dogs, tootsie pops, toothpicks, bright brown eyes, the beach, the west coast, cars, etc..

Music:

my favorite is anything with nice acoustics. but i listen to EVERYTHING! from sinatra to tupac, john mayer to bad boy bill, mozart to matisyahu, worship songs to broadway. i believe music is expression; all different, all personal.

Movies:

i'm a sucker for chick flicks and i'm not afraid to admit it. i love the unique and different ways people can fall in love. comedy is a must, drama is always around. horror is only good with a side of significant other.

Television:

i love the discovery channel, food network, the history channel, and espn. that's pretty much it when it comes to tv for me.

Books:

i don't read much to be quite honest, but i'm slowly making my way through the bible.

Heroes:

first and most important, the Lord my God. second and close second, my entire family as a whole. and last, but not least, my friends.
