Meshwell is one of the premiere, self-produced Hip Hop groups in Northern Maine. The founders (FLOW & RAH) debuted back in 2006 with their first and best known single, "Ev'ry Townz Gotta Ghetto." Since then, Meshwell has topped the IACmusic.com hip hop charts 3 times with 3 different tracks. Also, they have expanded the artist list by recruiting 2 additional members. First they introduced close friend and fellow musician, Money Bagz with the track titled, "Bombardment". Later on Money, with the help of FLOW, crafted his first song idea into the Meshwell track "Twizted". Next, before leaving for Florida for a while, RAH recruited 2 REAL to join the ranks. He debuted as the lead off on the club track, "P.Y.P.D." with FLOW and Money.
Now, Meshwell is releasing their much anticipated CD labled "CHRONICLES" . They chose that name because the album actually starts with the first track they ever did and follows the timeline to the present tracks. The CD is scheduled to drop in December, after 2 years of legal problems, members coming and going, and of course the equipment issues that kept them from completing the project.
As of May 2009, Meshwell has recruited a *NEW* Female Vocalsit. She goes by the name of Waupi and is not only the newest member of the group, but is also the proud owner of that anegelic voice you hear singing on the hook of the song "No More" here on the playlist. If you haven't done so already, you should definately give it a listen. The group is always looking for listener feedback so let the group know how they're doing or what you would like them to write about in a new song. You just might spark a new hit!!!
