Dirty Crew

About Me

The Dirty Crew was slowly formed over the past 5 years by a group of large, drunk rap assholes.
The Dirty Crew is an attempt to put energy, fun and skill back into rap music by keeping it original and humorous at the same time. We give it up for our predecessors and we know our shit.
Our first 2 group compilations sold out. You can purchase them online at www.futilityrecords.com
Fatt Matt, the originator, spearheads the campaign. In 2006 he is currently working on his next solo effort - the follow up to his critically acclaimed debut "Life Is..." - titled "King Of Donairs". This is sure to be a pleaser, and will feature production from DJ Moves, Gordski, DJ Nato and Petey Punch. There are cameo appearances by Tachichi, Cee!!!!!!!!!!, Kaboom, Dvice and other special guests.
Also in the works is a compilation with panhandler DJ Zach entitled "Fatt Matt and DJ Zach Present: Hits", it will be a group of sonically appeasing music for the non-advanced hiphop listener, but still grimey enough to keep the trained ear down. Synths and swing beats abound and some of the finest club rap this side of Atlanta. Sho Nuff.
The Dirty Crew has shared the stage with Living Legends, Devin The Dude, Mr.Lif, RA The Rugged Man, Aceyalone, Perceptionists, Moka Only, Abstract Rude, Kirby Dominant, Josh Martinez, Sixtoo, Buck 65, Classified, Peanuts and Corn, Kaleb Simmonds and many more.
The Dirty Crew has garnered attention in print through the following media outlets: Pound Magazine, Exclaim!, The Georgia Straight and Vice.
