The Afterphon sound is an innovative fresh mix of foward thinking music with the closer look to every single detail. I won..t call it minimal, because you know today everyone says that he creates and plays minimal..., everything is minimal just because...yeah because its the mainstyle every clubartrist ist concentrated on in these days. The ironic thing of this movement is that today minimal and how people imagine minimal should sound is completely different to its roots and its thought behind it.
So i don..t want to copy Mathew Jonson..s labelname but it is what it is! Its electronic music not less and not more!
I alwas try to make something real different,
somtimes crazy, sometimes oldschool,
everything but non usual stuff!
and its for those who really listen to the music,
who live the music, think about it and maybe ask themselve the question:
what does that track or set wants to tell me?
Is there maybe more than just the moment of the beat at the party or is it a kind of message.
Music always expresses more than just a single moment, it is more political and cultural as it seems to be.
