On Tuesday, December 23rd 2008, the lord above took my best friend, my mom, home to save her from the cancer that was destroying her body. She died at 6:10am, as I lay in bed next to her, holding her during the journey home. I miss her dearly, and wish to just have 1 more day...I took care of her these past 8 months after her diagnosis and I am proud that I got to help her through it all and to have held her, comforted her, during those last minutes of life....I heart aches for her, and nostalgic memories have taken control of my thoughts, but I know her spirit is still with me and I will see her again.
