Sacred Mantras

Silence is the mother of creativity

About Me

In 1996 Brit fell in love with the sound of sacred mantras and began learning about this ancient tradition under the guidance of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar during retreats in Scandinavia, Germany, Italy and India.

Brit is a Korean-Danish adoptee and a singer and musician on a free-time basis. Guitar accompanies her voice when these mantras are sung for relaxation and prayerful meditation.

Open to the beauty of music from all cultures of the world such as Indian, Arabian, Jewish and Scandinavian - Sacred Mantras is rooted in the wisdom of sound and mantras as inspired from Gandharva Ved.Recently, Korean traditional instruments and folklore song traditions have been studied and will be part of the upcoming repetoire.

Weekly satsangs and concerts have been given since 2003 in Copenhagen.

Above video is from last visit to India at World Peace Gathering 2006 with the participation of e.g. government and NGO's, religious and spiritual leaders under the theme, "One World Family"
