Recently I've been working with friends and songwriters replacing drum loops, drum machines, and midi tracks with real drums. I have a nice set up in my studio. I go back and forth between my Yamaha and Gretsch kit depending on the music. It's a pretty cut and dried procedure. I have them come over and sit next to me while we disect each section of the song and I try to give them exactly what they want. Sometimes I am playing to a vocal and a guitar with a click track. Sometimes we just build it as we go from a guitar with a click track. It's rewarding to be part of the creative process and hear how the song moves to the next level. I can work with Nuendo, DP, Logic, Sonar, Cubase and Digidesign Protools. If we need to track a full band, I have several great studios I can line up each capable of accommodating up to 48 tracks. I have a great team of session musicians available as well. Let's make some music!

I've gotten back into production and am out as tour manager/FOH for Jesse Cook this summer. Please check out his website, jessecook.com. Early influences are everything from the 70's and 80's. John Bonham was the best rock drummer to walk the earth. Buddy Rich, the best jazz drummer ever... Me... I just love playing my drums!
