Ranja Adam

Ranja Adam was born 16th of May 1984. She started singing at young age but didn’t have the courage to sing in public until her cousin’s husband discovered her talent. He let the young Ranja sing at their engagement party and everyone got surprised by the talent of this little girl. When Ranja became 19, she got introduced to a producer team with Laurence Ibrahim, Maher El-Zein and David Juhlin. Laurence Ibrahim just bought his studio and they had just started working with recording demos for Swedish artists. Ranja got the opportunity to work with them as their female demo singer. They got a good vibe and the chemistry was even better between them. “I concider myself a lucky to have met these amazing guys and I appreciate all the soul and advice they’ve given’ me along the way.” Ranja says. The first demo that she recorded was in 2004, called “Stop Acting Rough”, that was written and composed by the team. And that so on led to recording her first ballad, “Time to say goodbye” with Maher behind the wheels. After that she started to spend a lot of time in the studio with both Maher & Laurence, she’s recorded several tracks such as the duet with Laurence “U have it all”, and the duet with Maher “Sweet is what u are”.
