The turntables above all else!!! No matter what I go through in life, I can always count on that escape I get when I'm playing vinyls. I'm able to release a lot of energy while I'm mixing and it's very soothing. That and the fact that I've met some of the most interesting people because of them is why it's number 1.
I love playing sports (mainly Basketball), listening to live music, hanging out with good friends and beer, and firing up the grill.
People, people, and more people. I wanna meet good hearted people who like to laugh at stupid stuff and who can bullshit about anything. You DJ? Hit me up as well. I've always believed that no matter how small your interaction is with someone, you're making an impact on their life. It's like everyone has a story written about them as they go through life. My goal is to make as many stories as possible.

I like practically all music and believe there is a time and place for everything, but my heart is in electronic music to its fullest. I listen to it everywhere. I also love Hip Hop in moderation, but hate Rap music. I also don't care for most Country music as I think the gratuitous references to God, faith, and family values are there more to sell records to conservative types than praise their feelings. Rock...it rules, what can I tell you.
My electronic music dj/producers are Ferry Corsten, Sasha, John Digweed, Opencloud, Hernan Cattaneo, Lexicon Avenue, Nathan Fake, Satoshi Tomiie and a whole lot more.
..
Here's some other stuff I like:
Rock - Filter, Static-X, Rage Against The Machine, Tool, Dinosaur Jr, Helmet, Metallica, Megadeth, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, Alice In Chains, etc.
Hip-Hop - Def Jux (Aesop Rock, RJD2, Murs, and El-P), anything Wu-Tang, Outkast, The Pharcyde, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and KRS-One.
Punk - Pennywise, The Joykiller, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Riddlin' Kids, Dynamite Boy, and old Black Flag.
Blues - Robert Cray, SRV, Eric Johnson, Johnny Lang, Robert Johnson, BB King, and Rail Rider And The Get Back Attack (local)
In other words, I like almost everything. Ask me anytime about a genre and I'll tell you what I like. BTW, 80's owns!!!!
I'm a big fan of classic films. I used to major in Film so I'm not really into really really poorly made movies. I can't decide if I love Action or Comedy more though. Favorite movies: Office Space & Top Gun. Top Gun wasn't poorly made, so shut up.
Arrested Development, Heroes, Transformers, MASK, and The Drew Carey Show.
I've been into Latino authors lately. I had the honor of reading "Occupied America" by Rodolfo Acuna and it really taught me a lot of where my roots are from. I really enjoy the work of Jose Antonio Burciaga. He was one of the founding members of Culture Clash and his essays are extremely funny to read. He has written "Drink Cultura" and "Spilling The Beans" and both are really funny. Props to Sandra Cisneros for "The House On Mango Street".
I am a very big Steinbeck fan. I love how he portrays American life during the Depression Era and I never tire of his work. I also love George Orwell, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, and Allen Ginsburg.
My Dad above all others. The way he goes to work everyday to support his family is something that always goes unnoticed these days. His life is his family. That's how it should be.
Representative Henry B. Gonzalez for all the shit he put up with and overcame during a period when people of Latino and African-American cultures were not considered "equal".
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for the same reasons, but on a much grander scale.
Ernesto "Che" Guevara - This man was born of rich blood in Argentina and gave his life to helping lepers and eventually for the freedom of a country he had no ancestral link to. It would be like you fighting for Quebecs freedom, you know? That's someone who believed in a cause.
Others include my older brother Leonard for being my voice of wisdom when I was trying to find myself and for leading me down the right path in life by living his...my old Calculus teacher Gregorio Morin, and anyone who has served in the military.
