I'm Sara Doane. I'm an artist and a photographer. Lets talk.
Services:
Photography:
Prices in photography vary upon location, time spent taking the photos, and the amount of photos (if any) that are photoshopped.
Artwork:
I can do portraits in charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, oil pastel and acrylics. Prices vary according to medium and size. If you have a special request for any piece of art, I can probably do it.
Clothing Art:
Clothing art can be drawn on most light colored non-bleeding fabrics (ie: denim, canvas, cotton, etc.) Designs can be custom or taken from another source. Prices depend on the size of the artwork and whether or not its a custom design.
F.A.Q.:
Q: What kind of camera do you use?
A: I am currently using a Canon Rebel XTi DSLR.
Q: Do you do any photo editing?
A: Yes. I use Photoshop CS3 and can do different things here and there to photos including, but not limited to: removing blemishes, removing unsightly items from the backgrounds of images, adding text, cropping, burning, dodging, etc.
Q: In what regions of FL can I hire you to do photography?
A: I will travel anywhere within an hour from Tampa. Photoshoots outside of Tampa do cost a little more since Tampa is where I live. If needed, I can travel farther than an hours distance, however, I will require compensation for gasoline.
Q: Do you have your own studio?
A: Unfortunately, the answer is no. I take photos wherever I can, and the photoshoots usually turn into fun little trips. I'm working to get to that studio some day, though. For professional looking portraits, I either take it outside, or use my own lighting and backdrops on whatever wall I can find.
Q: What do you use to create your clothing art?
A: I use fabric markers. I draw free-hand. I don't use stencils unless its requested.
Q: Will I be able to wash my clothes if you put clothing art on them?
A: Yes! The image will fade some, but not too much. The clothes will be machine washable (in cold water), but of course, I always reccomend hand-washing.
