Mark Ames, promoter / DJ has created a monster of a club that goes from strength to strength - having set up home in NYC and Birmingham UK - I've played at both as well as Madrid & Brighton. I have a very ecclectic taste in music but mainly lean toward Funky Vocal House / Electro / Tribal / Progressive or anything with a raw black diva vocal, particularly Kathy Brown, Inaya Day, Loleatta Holloway.... Been with XXL for 2 years & want to move up a level and start remixing / producing - I've been slowly upgrading software (recently bought CUBASE - no idea how it works!!) & hardware at home to eventually create a home-studio & any guidance / mentoring would be very much appreciated!!!
