About Me

formed/reformed and deformed in the period 00-06. A and J met on a train in -00. J heading for his bro' in slovakia somewhere, A meandering around w/an inter-rail pass to everywhere. Years passed and through different bands the two realized they had a good musical collaboration going on(communication not relating to music usually consisted of one syllable words, and looks of dismay). there was snow when A asked J to start a band in -05 playing songs he couldn't "fit in elsewhere". J said; "sure" and they were on their way. circumstance/synchronicity/fate in a pleasant mood put A, J and Douglas Ferguson together 14days later in a happy mixture of chocolate cakes, instruments, cold feet, wine and a odorous rehearsal room. "that's rad, dude!" and "you gotta come to my place" . 4-5 months later they were in austin, tx. at "the still". the results presented here are songs finding their form during 3weeks of april-06. their soundfeelingexpression is a result from all involved at that moment evolving from a general idea. "ai(!), all the good ppl in austin!" A said to me returning in the start of may. relating about the musicians who volunteered to play for the fun of it...the ppl he met on the streets during his "safaris". asking them last week what they thought about the result from that april their answers were ambivalent. "there are def some alternatives in there...some shouldn't have been recorded" (analogies like "taking a crap" were wryly made) Jørn is currently studying at KIT(the art school in trondheim) playing in various bands. Arne is pursuing his childhood dream of becoming a political mime.j.jorkens 3.august-07
