His first incursion into the professional DJ's world started in 2002 while working as a radio producer on Rabat International Channel where he has largely contributed in discovering electronic music and promoting clubbing in Morocco, thanks to his radio shows “LES NOCTURNES” and “SALUT DJ”.His musical evolution went through different styles, from deep house to minimal continuing to tribal and progressive house, until finally getting to house and all its variations. In the past seven years Mar1 has established himself as one of the most innovative and respectable DJ’s in his natal country.Mar1 performed as a guest DJ in important events like Heineken Thirst Competition , Gauloises Glory Sundays ,We Love Deejing Sessions , Pure Summer , Fashion Weekend , Made In Morocco Festival, State Of Mind Festival , Rhythm of Hope, I Love Electro , Electro Sun Festival, Transaraha, Maroc Hit Parade....This demonstrates both his popularity, and his skill with adapting his live performance skills to a very diverse crowd. This exceptional talent explains why Mar1 is considered as one of the best Moroccan DJ’s.In 2006 Mar1 became resident at Platinium Club gaining recognition in the Moroccan House Scene. It is clear Mar1 is full of imagination and has great taste. The crowds love him.
