Voidal is Doom Metal. Voidal is Death Metal. Dare you to call it Metalcore. Give it any name, but one thing granted: once you are up to listen to it, expect no mercy.
Voidal is Emotion. Abstraction and Ambivalence. Altering Reality. Romanticism and Rage. Hatred is unwelcomed here; Hate yourself, but respect your brother.
A relatively new-born fetus, Voidal's birth dates back to end of 2003/early 2004. Many hours were spent in utero; Many thoughts and hesitations were - and still being - invested
into forming the scaffolding for Voidal to dwell in, into holding this scaffolding in one piece, keeping it from collapsing.
And yes, it takes only a couple of hands, a brain and parents with an average income to realize the singing flame within. Indeed, behind the Void stands but a single man, yet avoid defiance!
For Voidal is no "hobby project" of a soul struck by boredom, Voidal is Real, is alive, and it would kick and trample to prove you wrong.
Humbly gifted with the Gift of Versatility, Nokhri ("Foreigner" in Hebrew) handles, besides all lyrical and musical compositions, all the instrumental duties as well,
whether it's the intertwined and ten ton heavy guitars, the bass guitar which seem to have a voice of it's own besides being "the very low-end of the guitars", the sheer ambiances, whether programmed or played on a keyboard,
and maybe the most standing-out duty - the caustic, self-mutilating and defying all tradition horror that his throat produces.
In addition, Nokhri serves as the webmaster and designer of his site, and in general - all that's Voidal related.
Already having two demos in the resume, Voidal is nothing but breathing freely. Major work awaits ahead, many things are to be done and doors to be opened before going on a temporary hiatus, forced by the Army of Israel.
