Influences: My first memories of music just knocking me out was the band The Box Tops and the song was The Letter. Alex Chilton’s voice grabbed me. From the eight hit intro on the snare and the electric guitar riff that leads right into the first verse. Then the horn stabs in the second verse that was it for me, I was a music fan.
I always felt lucky to have grown up in the 60’s and 70’s because of all the great music.
There are so many songwriters that have touched my life with their poetry, insight, views, and tales I’m sure I’ll leave more out than I’ll remember to put in.
Bob Dylan, my all time favorite.
