psycho active records(par) was founded in oslo 1993.... At this time, norwegian labels were mostly into rock'n roll. Par collected unsigned electronic, industrial and exprimental acoustic bands to release their first compilation cd.even apoptygma berserk & erlend/kings of convenience wanted to contribute.the first compilation was released 1994/95 "psychoactivated phase 1"the second compilation "psychoactivated phase 2" 1996the third compilation "psychoactivated phase 3" 1997the fourth compilation "psychoactivated phase 4" 1999today, the internet provide lables for all kinds of music,
and the norwegian music scene is quite open minded....so from 2007, psycho active records will focus on collecting
