Mostly non-fiction these days... But here are my keepers: Drawing Down the Moon by Margot Adler, The Divine Right of Capital by Marjorie Kelly, The Earth Path by Starhawk, Leadership and the New Science by Meg Wheatley, lots of Carl Jung esp Synchonicity, Man and His Symbols, Race Matters by Cornell West, Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, As I Lay Dying by William Faulker, like all Falkner actually, Jane Eyre, Crime and Punishment, The Da Vinci Code, Ceremony by Leslie Marmon Silko, and for some good smut reading I liked Fortune's Rocks by Anita Shreve and Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. Then there's a bunch of postmodern feminist stuff I am reading for my dissertation, which I am avoiding like the plague!
We don't need another hero.
