Gary comes from humble beginnings in the small town of Sioux Lookout, population…5000. His first musical abilities came out in the bathtub, the place where all musicians really start. The first instrument he picked up was the guitar. He learned from a teacher…well what can really be said about this teacher…they taught him odd songs…Friends recall something about Jupiter and Mars being in the lyrics. He was never really one to be shy even when he maybe didn’t sound too good. Well now he has broken away from that teacher and now can actually play the guitar, not to mention sing when not put under too much pressure. He has tried for drums only to be disappointed and a tad frustrated. Gary currently attends Briercrest College and Seminary where he is studying music with a twist of Technology. Running sound boards and getting ready for concerts is was Gary really lives for. He recently went on Tour with "That Place" (www.myspace.com/thatplaceband) for three weeks. the tour was a big success and says that he would do it again in a heart beat! The biggest passion Gary has is to grow in a deeper relationship with God through worship and seeking him. although not always easy, He continues to press on even when he makes mistakes because he knows that he is loved and forgiven.
