About Me

Hello, * So this about me is supposed to make me sound really cool and compel you to add me as your friend, right? Well, don’t get your hopes up. I’m just a pretty average (although some would say otherwise) guy. I enjoy thinking about all things, thinkable and unthinkable! How can you think about unthinkable thing? It’s easy; you should try it some time. I like art! If it were more lucrative I would probably be an art major, but it turns out I want to have a job out of college (if I ever get out of there)! So, for now, I do math and science. If you’re in to that sort of thing I think I could probably talk about it all day (or at least 1/24 of the day). I love talking to people. I like Macchiatos and real Cappuccinos (as a posed to crap steeped in water Starbucks or the Village Baking Company serves). I’ve been getting in to philosophy, but it starts to freak my brain out. Overall, at the end of the day, I’m just a crazy mixed up 22 yr. old.Layout made by nothing_plus_this at CreateBlog.com .

I'd like to meet:

Now, you may think this is weird but hear me out. I believe that mathematics can be aesthetic and viewed as art of the highest rank. What is art but an expression of emotion and thought for other to view and hopefully understand? Does art need to be understood to be appreciated, and how much more is it appreciated once it is understood? I believe that mathematics is the ultimate achievement of human expression of the world around us, next to writing. With its symbols, methods, ability to provoke thought, and inspire Man for thousands of years, mathematics has to be categorized as art with paper as its medium. Even if you don’t understand it, you can’t strip the aesthetics form what look like hieroglyphs that only a few understand. The beauty of mathematics is inescapable. It is in every living and non-living thing some may argue. Is it the language in which God wrote the Universe; the language that we only hope to fully understand foolishly? Does it really exist out side of our experience, or is just some figment of our imagination? I don’t know, but I like it!

Heroes:

This is Probably one of my most favorite poems. The Road Not TakenTwo roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth. Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same. And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
