I do a lot of songwriting around the world, and have been blessed to work with some GREAT people like Paul Field, Chris Eaton, Nik Kershaw, Michael Garvin, John Hartley, Jennifer Paige, Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Tofer Brown, Allan Eshuys, Danny Orton, Troy Verges amo. For cowriting the song Testify to Love (recorded by Avalon, Wynonna and many others) we were rewarded with a Dove Award and an ASCAP award. I had some songs in the US Film 'A Foreign Affair' (with David Arquette & Tim Blake Nelson), and I do an awful lot of Film & TV Scoring in Europe (see under)
Allthough I work in a very global setting, cooperating with guitarists from Houston, TX, bass players from the East of Holland, Remixers in the UK, (to name a few..) my 2 'physical' working areas are my studio in Leeuwarden, where I have a fully geared up Protools/Logic setup, overlooking the Frisian Waterside, and my studio in Baarn, right in the center of Media-Holland, close to Hilversum and Amsterdam, where I have a beautiful writing-/meeting-/recording room in the renowned Shamrock Studios, where hitrecords are being produced by Bløf, Marco Borsato, VanVelzen amo. In this room there's plenty of space, daylight, and ofcourse there's ProTools.
Recently I did the full orchestral filmscore for 'The Roymann Closure', a short film with Robert David Hall (of CSI fame), a short film from the very talented director David Grifhost. Here's a small part of recent TV and Film projects I scored and did the whole sounddesign for:
