About Me

Hi there! Originally from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, living in San
Diego since graduation from the University of North Texas. I enjoy a
good party and putting a smile on others puts one on me. Personally
I've been described as the adorable dork; professionally I work with
one of San Diego's most reputable event production companies.

you can always tell where I am from my listed location, you can tell what I'm planning to do from my calendar, my headline and song express how I'm feeling and you can tell what I've been thinking about from my last blog... see my Calendar below and our website for events, pictures, and more

I hope you dance....I hope you dance."

Movies:

Looking fwd to see:
The Last King of Scottland, Barnyard, The Good German, The Devil Came on Horsback, The Golden Compass, The Forbidden Kingdom, Prince Caspian Most Recent:
Never Back Down... cheesy with a few holes... let's call it Swiss...
Be Kind Rewind... a light hearted comedy with some unexpected depth
Semi-Pro... Will Ferrell scores again...
Vantage Point... intriguing and inspiring...
Over Her Dead Body... another enjoyable chick flick...
27 Dresses - "...light, frothy and predictable, but still sort of funny and cute."
National Treasure - the crowd applauded...
HITMAN - exciting and action packed, worth a look
The Lives of Others (Das Leben der Anderen) a powerful exploration of human morals, principles, heart, and emotion
Ocean's 13... intreaguing
Pirates 3... elaborate and a bit confusing...
Starter for 10... clever, witty, unexpectedly heartwarming
Reno 911: Miami... quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen
The Good Shepherd... an intelligent masterpiece...
Children of Men... Powerful...
Night at the Museum... History comes alive in this warm tale suitable for the family
Casino Royale... Bond returns to be taken more seriously...
Stranger than Fiction... Life may not be a tragedy after all...
Borat... something hilariously offensive for everyone...
School for Scoundrels... Hilarious and a warning to all, these people are really out there...
Hollywoodland... still a mystery...
Talladega Nights... shake and bake... Will Ferrell is hilarious...
Pirates of the Caribbean... something for everyone, enjoyable beginning to end...
The Devil Wears Prada... an intriguing and humorous look into the world of Vogue through the eyes of "Runway" it's fictitious counterpart
X-Men... extremely fast paced action, over before you know it...
DaVinci Code... captured my attention through it's entirety and duration... excellent
Thank You for Smoking... effectively delivers a message with many a laugh
Running Scared... a thrilling blend of drama, excitement, and even a bit of romance...
Night Watch... eclectic... moments of cinematic genius oddly dispersed
Date Movie... I struggled to laugh... and when I did... questioned if I should...
Imagine Me & You... another English film about adultery.... but this time with a twist... yet still just as gut wrenching...
Match Point... Woody Allen's new film opened my eyes to the cruel web of deceit and lies that surround the ugly world of adultery... but in my case understanding makes it that much more frustrating
Fun with Dick and Jane... absolutely hilarious !
Narnia... as a child the book changed my life... the movie brought back all those feelings again... a must see for anyone who ever enjoyed CS Lewis' classic
Syriana... an interesting look into what may drive the balance of politics and business in the middle east
Just Friends... title says all... go see it with that special "friend"
Zathura... heartwarming adventure perfect for anyone with siblings or children...
Legend of Zorro... as my brother Stefan would say... this sequel rated high on the "Käse metre"
Domino... she reminded me of someone i once knew... guess who...
Serenity... touched by the surprisingly romantic elements ...
In Her Shoes... chick flick... I'll admit a tear may have even filled my eye in a scene or two... bottom line (for guys) you don't have to like the movie, the fact that you went is what makes her happy
Into the Blue... lots of eye candy... plot twists
Lord of War... usually, i go to the movies to escape reality... replace my personal (usually female) problems with hope from the silver screen... Lord of War reminds us that our life is good and that there are real problems in the world that if ignored, are still there... maybe one person can't change the world... but maybe one can
A History of Violence... intriguing albeit predictable drama
The Man... would make a good rental this winter... Transporter 2... sophisticated thrill rideDeuce Bigalow... a little bit over done but good for a few laughsDukes of Hazzard... I'll be honest.. went in with low expectations but they were thoroughly exceeded, wildly entertaining...Stealth... action packed, decent story line...Batman Returns... the way he ought to... The Island... very interesting, kinda long... lots of death...Charlie & the Chocolate Factory... what a trip... ;-)Wedding Crashers... started off like the previews but developed into a funny movie with nice twists and turns... Vince Vaugn's opening dialogue on relationships is pricelessWar of the Worlds... completely told from Tom Cruise's character's point of view...Star Wars, Episode III, Revenge of the Sith... got to see it May 5th, lucky me... very dark ... no surprises, yet ties everything together, can't wait to see it again...All time list: Empire Strikes Back, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, As good as it gets, Forrest Gump, 5th Element, Independence Day, Snatch, 12 Monkeys, Whale Rider, Must Love Dogs, A Bridge Too Far ... I like movies where good triumphs over evil and the boy gets the girl... but here in the real world... (do you know the Alan Jackson song?)Cult Classics: Office Space, Van Wilder, Old School, Zoolander, Starship TroopersWon't see: Horror and most Thrillers... I don't go to the movies to scare the crap out of myself...
