Enchanted is owned and operated in Portland, Oregon, by Lisa Marie. A custom corsets and clothing line designed and sewn by Lisa Marie, all clothing is made to the client's specifications, for the client's measurements, and for the client's pleasure. YOU get to decide what color, what period, what length, and what fabric. This includes a full mockup (the garment made from muslin), and construction of the garment does not start until you are completely satisfied with the fit. Lisa Marie is a long time corset/fetish fan, and is very familiar with the fashion demands of local subcultures. With a degree in Dressmaking and Design, Lisa Marie is well equipped to handle your fashion fantasies.
About Corsets
A common misconception regarding corsets is that they are uncomfortable. Oh, contraire! A properly fitted and well made corset is quite comfortable, and you should be able to wear it all night (or day) without pinching, poking, folding, or bulging. This misconception likely comes from experiences with ready-made corsets, which are made for some mythological figure with random measurements. No two figures are created alike – good luck finding something off the rack that fits your bust, waist, hips, and everywhere in between! A corset should not only be comfortable, it should be fashionable. This means that the gap down the back (where the lacing is traditionally placed) should be 1-3†apart.
What You Get
A corset from Enchanted is based on 22 measurements to ensure that this luxurious garment fits you like a glove, and makes you feel SEXY! Lisa Marie first drafts the pattern and constructs your mockup. As many fittings as are needed take place before the finished garment is cut, to ensure the perfect fit for this special item. You get your choice of fabric – if you want purple polka dots, then, providing you can find it, YOU GOT IT! Enchanted Corsets are fully interfaced and lined, and include all steel boning, a steel busk with riveted posts and eyes, modesty panels in front and back, and satin lacing. Of course, you can request other materials or closure methods if you choose. The typical corset (if there is such a thing) takes about 20-30 hours to complete - Lisa Marie is the only seamstress, so make sure to place your order a couple of months before you need it!
