Masha Campagne has this rare electric quality that transforms songs into personal messages for each listener. Her phrasing, her expressive styling, her connection to audience communicates lyrics in terms that are unmistakable to the true performer capable of capturing imagination of most discerning jazz listener.
Her 2007 national CD release Caminhos Cruzados/Crossroads was uniformly praised by critics as "beautiful set of Brazilian sounds from start-to-finish" (All About Jazz) and "wonderful groove-filled exhibition of the Brazilian attitude"(Jazz Review).
Being in TOP 50 airplay on JazzWeek World Music Chart the album has received airplay at over 140 Jazz, Classical and World Music radio stations in US, Canada, Australia, and The Netherlands.
Campagne's "delicious Brazilian jazz sound" (Andy Gilbert) earned her extensive performance engagements at top Bay Area Jazz venues such as Jazz at Pearl's (San Francisco), KRML Jazz & Blues Company (Carmel), Monterey Jazz Festival and endless others.
