DJ Juan Campos The "Maestro" of Spanish DJ's
The "Maestro" of Spanish DJ's is back after 15 years, and is hard at work again throughout europe.
Juan Campos, born in Palma De Mallorca on 11/07/1956.
His talents as a DJ, Producer, Remixer, Radio & TV personality have known no bounds, going from strength to strength throughout the years.
Owner of one of the most renowned record shops in Europe, which has become like a meeting place for all the best European and American DJ's, he also owns and runs two top recording studios in Mallorca.
From the early 70's he worked throughout the best discos and clubs in the Balearic Islands, Barcelona & Madrid; Kiss, Scorpio, Joy, Zorba's, Tito's, BCM, Menta, Pacha, etc.. to name but a few.
In the 80's, Juan began to also work in England, France, Germany, Switzerland and famously at the world-renowned Studio 54 in New York, U.S.A.
During 1982, he was invited by producers Henry Belolo & J Morali, who produced the Village People, to go and DJ for a few hours with Ritchie Family and other artists, but ended up staying all weekend to DJ with the Resident DJ Ritchie.
The 70's, 80's and 90's were decades which saw Juan play at large parties with the famous, Tavares, Jessie Green, Village People, Ritchie Family, Sylvester, Sugar Hill Gang, Pasadenas, Sinitta, James Brown and many more..
After 1999, the Millenium saw Juan DJ the afterparties for legends such as Kool & the gang, and George Benson, playing music from his vast collection of more than 25000 vinyls (7", 12", Lp's) and 10000 cds, (although Juan prefers to play original vinyl singles) which span from the 60's through to the end of the 90's and beyond.
Current events are parties like Boogie Nights, Disco Fever, Flower Power and Studio 54 which are held throughout the week on the Island of Mallorca, and as always Juan Campos is the master of ceremony and of course, a DJ and talented showman.
Juan Campos has been djing for 34 years, still scratching, cutting and mixing… like angels ( as his friends say) .
