factory R is an independent record label based in West Virginia. The label began in 2001 by a group of musicians (i.e., a "band") who wanted to professionally release a record that they had recorded. With a lot of hard work, and with the help of some people close to them, the record was released and the label founded. Subsequent releases are typically for projects that this original group of musicians and/or their friends record and want to put out. Thus, factory R is a small collective of persons and has more of a family feel rather than a profit-driven business slant. factory R releases are either traditionally-manufactured compact discs or handmade CD-Rs with unique handmade packaging.
Please do not send us any demos. Thank you.
