Hi there!! I´m Andreas, keyboardplayer in the prog-metal band Seventh Wonder.I grew up and currently live in Sundbyberg, just outside Stockholm. At about age 6 I gained access to a piano and immediately began playing with it all the time (to the dubious pleasure of my surroundings). At age 10 I enrolled in the Sundbyberg Music School, where I played both drums and piano. For a long time, drums were my main instrument, and I played drums in many orchestras. At age 15 I started taking keyboards seriously, and after playing around with some friends after school I evetually wound up in my first serious rock band. The band's name was “Propertyâ€, and we had a lot of gigs, and even won a demo recording session in a band contest once. We mostly did covers, though, so after a few years I no longer felt challenged. I wanted to play more advanced music. At the time, I had started listening to Dream Theater and Symphony X, who are still my favorite bands. The first time I heard “Scenes From A Memoryâ€, with keyboardist Jordan Rudess, I understood I had a whole lot left to learn... I sat day and night working up my speed and dexterity. The problem was finding people who played the same style of music, and who were any good...I eventually got in touch with a drummer (Gustav Almlöv), who played fusion and progressive metal. We played as a duo for about a year and for a while sported a guitarist to boot. He, however, disappeared due to military service, and the whole thing just ran out of our hands as we never managed to get a singer or bass player. A friend who I had previously played with (Zoran Kukulj of Scarpoint) knew Johnny Sandin, and knew that Johnny's band were on the lookout for a keyboard player. He talked me into coming along to have a listen. When I heard the guys play I was damned impressed. I had never heard or played with musicians this good before. It was given, then, that I would play with them, in what was later to be Seventh Wonder.....
