The Krispies is a therapy band for rocking popsters Knipi (Egotrippi) and Lasse Kurki (Lemonator). In 1998 they wrote handful of good songs and asked friends Aleksi Mänttäri and Heikki Tikka to join the band for the recording of Solid Gold Rockstars album. It took 8 rehearsals plus few weeks in the studio to complete this classic powerpop album. To celebrate the release of the album, The Krispies did five gigs, after which, everyone returned to their day jobs.If you're into Big Star or Teenage Fanclub, you are more than likely to fall in love with The Krispies.
One day there will be more of The Krispies, but the time for it isn't quite yet.
