AMALA is a singer/songwriter/performer/producer from Seattle Washington. Have lived in Hawaii and Georgia.Has opened for such artists as Jennifer Holiday, Martha Wash, Shawn Colvin, Sang with the Great 4 time Grammy Nominated Jazz Singer Ernestine Anderson and worked with Members of the Legendary Rock Band HEART.Howard Leese of HEART Produced and Played all Guitars for AMALA. On a project originally done in the late 90s. From Hip Hop, Funk, Rock, Jazz, Grunge, Metal, Rap, and even a bit of Modern Country and Pop. All mixed into an eclectic and diverse new sound. Seattle has always been known for it's Diversity and the artists that have come out of Seattle such as HEART, NIRVANA, JIMI, and Quincy Jones have forever changed the face of music. This Cd includes some of the best Indie artists I have found from sites all over the net. And I am proud and honored to have so many amazingly talented people come together from so many different arenas of music to make something different and to take a chance.
