Things that make me happy (in no particular order): Music, creativity, LAUGHING!, adventure, black licorice, conversation, homemade anything, concerts, road trips, foreign countries, peanut butter, comfortable high heels, coziness, Tahoe, snowboarding, ice skating, camp fires, creating, roller coasters, honesty, freedom, airports, exploring, driving fast, hair, late nights and sunrises, pizza, DIY, color, sponteneity, smut magazines, surprises... Things that definately DON'T make me happy: CDs that skip, when my appendages fall asleep, traffic, non-functioning turn signals, unrequitted love, wind, awkward silence, stark white, chronic lateness, lines, boredom, pool (as in billiards), eggs, rat tails, bills, mayonaise, when I hit my funny bone, James Blunt.
Anyone that amuses me!
A lot of it. And loud. Oh, except for country, which no matter how hard I try to tolerate, it just gets on my nerves. Some favorites are The Cure, The Juliana Theory, Incubus, Oasis, New Order, Muse, Missy Higgins, Brand New, Beck, Death Cab for Cutie, Something Corporate, Guster, The Shins, Matt Nathanson, and a ton of other stuff I'm forgetting. Oh, and a few Justin Timberlake songs.
Ones that give me nightmares, make me laugh hard, cry hard, and sit on the edge of my seat. Amelie, High Fidelity, Say Anything (I must subconsciously have a thing for John Cusack), and certain parts of Robin Hood Men in Tights and The Pink Panther are up there.
I FINALLY have a TV. It gets a channel. Sometimes Sienfeld or American Idol come on. That's about it.
Cookbooks.
My strong and brave friend Kayla.AndPieter van der Meche. If it wasn't for him, I'd be a bum in Amsterdam...litterally.
