About Me

This is the Official Public Myspace for Record Producer Aaron Edwards.
At the age of 27, producer Aaron Edwards has already amassed quite a collection of diverse recordings under his belt. Whether it was recording/producing (and sometimes performing) alongside his good friend Orion Walsh with the bands Slow Coming Day (Tooth and Nail) and Die Midwestern, or working alongside the very talented and ambitious rock and roll phenoms Yesterday's Rising (Fearless Records), or perhaps it was his work with Beverly (Maverick/Warner Brothers), Adora (Harvest Earth), Burning Tree Project (both as a producer and as a member). He has worked (either as a producer, engineer, or mix engineer) with Another Rising (Upchuck Records), Hatchet and Annie (later this band went on to form Heavy Heavy Low Low), Antagonist (now signed with Prosthetic Records), Blackheart Eulogy (Alex is now drumming for Suicide Silence), Thornlake (as seen and heard on MTV's My Super Sweet 16), Roundtree (former members of Die Radio Die), Heartstop (as heard on KROQ), Repeat Repeat, Tracy, Let's Drive to Alaska, Sydnee Duran (from Valora, Fearless/Hollywood Records), Throwing Seven, Tracks Like Trains, and many other notable projects. He has been known to collaborate, write perform, and/or record alongside such talented artists as Stacy Clark (Shangri-La/Warner), Orion Walsh (Slow Coming Day, Die Midwestern), Jon Staph (Beverly), Enik Lin (Burning Tree Project), and other talented singers and songwriters.
His work has been featured on national syndicate and international radio. Songs he has worked on and/or co-written have appeared on National and Local Television Networks as well. He has produced and engineered on projects for clients such as Fearless Records, Warner Brothers, Maverick, MTV, and many more. He is currently involved with projects including Arms Like Yours, Yesterdays Rising (produced by Aaron and mixed by Beau Burchell of Saosin), Baby Fiasco, and many more.
In mid 2008 Aaron officially joined remix team Modern Eyes with his good friend and sometimes engineer Eddie Rivera. Modern eyes is an electronic based project with a focus on remix work in club friendly styles (mostly electro with an occasional dabbling in house and electronica) and original Electro compositions. They have been known to be quite elusive in nature.
In the summer of 2009 Aaron worked on a pop record with the band Baby Fiasco. Since then he has been collaborating non-stop with a variety of artists on a yet to be announced project.
Performance
Aaron Edwards was briefly a member of Burning Tree Project in 2007 and contributed guitars, programming, and backing vocals to their "Time and Color" EP produced by James Paul Wisner. Aaron also appears in Burning Tree Project's video for the song "Hero" which has been in rotation on MTV2 as well as being in heavy rotation internationally on MTVK and MTV CHI. He is known to co-write and contribute guitars, keyboards, and programming to most of the projects he works on.
He has done national and international tours performing in countries such as England, France, Amsterdam, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Finland, and Estonia. He has performed at festivals such as Joshuafest, Cornerstone, Tomfest, Purple Door Festival, and others.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

A lot of Aaron Edwards production work (producing, engineering, mixing) is done at Lindell Productions which is part of the Headway Complex. It is owned and maintained by his friend (and sometimes engineer) Shawn Lindell. The studio has done work for artists such Sons of Kyuss (Queens of the Stoneage), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shiny Toy Guns, and lots of other great artists. The Neve 8108 console at Lindell Productions is the actual console that Green Day recorded their album "Nimrod" on (note: the album featured the wildly successful single "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)."

Hello again.

It's a strange sort of existance being a traveling musician of little to no wealth. I admire those above myself in the hierarchy of musical tradition but find myself envious. It's not a jealous or ugl...
