I grew up playing the drums & I've been very fortunate to have been apart of a legendary time with some very fond memories of some great bands with some awsome sounds & different styles. This is my way of honoring those LEGENDES OF ROCK, by showing my appreciation for what they have given & what I gladly & egerly accepted. I am a drummer but I have A great love for the rest, as the past has given us some great musicians such as Bassists Bruce Hall, Billy Sheehan, Steve Harris, Rudy Sarzo, Geddy Lee. Drummers of the likes of Neil Peart, Keith Moon, Nicko McBrain, John Bonham, Shannon Larkin,& Bryan Hitt, Lars Ulrich just to name a few. We were also blessed with some fantastic vocals such as Joe Lynn Turner, Rob Halford, Alice Cooper, Goeff Tate, Don Dokken, Ronnie James Dio, Kevin Cronin, Steve Perry & it dont stop there. What can be said about the professores of the Guitar age that really defined TALENT. These LEGENDS are the finest & at the top of their game being the pioneers of the music industry giving to us the likes of Dave Amato, George Lynch, Steve Vai, Vivian Campell, Alex Lifeson, Ritchie Blackmore, Eric Clapton Jakie Lee, Adrian Smith, Dave Murry, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kurk Hammet, but this is only to name a small few as these musicians that were in some of the best bands of all time such as Rush, Maiden, REO Speedwagon, Metalica, White snake, DIO, Dokken, Godsmack, Judas Priest, Raindow, Deep Purple, Queensryche, & Aerosmith. Lets face it, All these bands were in fact "THE BEST OF THE BEST" I hope I have done some justice to these LEGENDS of ROCK. If I have left out some one that deserves recognition, please let me know & lets get them the recognition they deserve, seeing how that is what this site is for "REMEMBERING & PAYING TRUBUTE" to those we came to know & love -THESE LEGENDS- I present them to all who share the same love of the gift we have all been given. Neil Peart is a great drummer as is Rich, Lang, & Jordison, but who is the best? They all are. The way I see it they all have an awsome quality that sets them apart from other drummers & they are in their own right the best because they all have some thing great to bring to the table. My personal favorites are Shannon Larkin (Godsmack), Bryan Hitt (REO Speedwagon), Nikko McBrain (Iron Maiden). But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But we can all agree that there is nothing better than listening to your favorite drummer, lets check out some LEGENDARY drummers here. I say he is a LEGEND seeing how he was behind the scenes in a number of bands from Black Sabbath, Ugly Kid Joe, & Candle Box. Even though he was never realy in Black sabbath he was still playing with them on tour. This LEGEND to me has some of the fastest feet I've heard in a long time, Sully Erna being the front man of Godsmack plays the guitar, sings &jams quite well on his gorgeous kit.
