I am a stay-at-home dad with my two wonderful children Rose and Charles. They keep me busy. I have a perfect match with my fabulous wife Kathy. We have a lot in common, including having the same birthday.I love to play music. I play with the always inspiring Hotel X, a world jazz groove afrobeat band. Check out the Hotel X myspace page for music and more. I also play reggae with Unity Sound. We do a lot of Studio One riddims and have a good time.I am starting a large garden here at the house with lots of bamboo structures throughout. We live in the house my grandfaher built in 1939. It has had a lot of additions through the years. It sits on about three acres in Mechanicsville, Virginia. I have lived here off and on since 1978. My family moved here last year and it has been very nice. My grandfather had a large garden here and I used to play there. I am starting a small organic farm here called Ellerson Farm.We now have goats and chickens here at the house. I got the goats to eat the bamboo that was taking over the yard. They have done a great job eating it and have helped to keep clear a large section of the yard. The chickens also like to eat bamboo. I have lost a lot of chickens to predators but hopefully that has been overcome for now.
