“Music is my religion.†Exclaim Siepher’s On Fire, the producer/songwriter also known as Oraldo Meghie. The 28yrs old Bronx, New York native musical journey began in 1996. He then went by the name Louis Siepher, the third member of the horror-core rap group, Ghetto Demons. Though the group would disband before it even really got started, it didn’t seem to slow him down. He then hook up with high school friend and fellow rapper T-bone. Together they would write and produce songs. It was T-bone who would teach siepher how to record, overdubbing with two tape decks, and how to use the keyboard. They would relentlessly work on music. This productive union continued for a short time, by 1999 , Siepher would again find himself solo when he and T-bone parted ways because of creative differences, frustrated but motivated Siepher moved on. He would then enroll in The Institute Of Audio Research in New York, to pursue a career in recording engineering. But after completion of the course, he was unable to land an internship. However, that proved to be a blessing in disguise, which left him more time focus on his production. Though his production skills were in its infant stage, it was clear then that he had talent, and by 2002 he decided to hang up his mic, and produce fulltime. “ I got a better response for my tracks. Not that I couldn’t write songs, but my delivery wasn’t quite there at the time.†He continued to hone his craft over the next few years. “I lost lots of sleep and missed out on many summers producing and writing songs.†But it all paid off cause by 2006 people were starting to take notice. “ I would gets offers from dudes wanting to buy tracks, but at the time I wasn’t ready.†Now filled with confidence, Siepher’s On Fire is really to set the world ablaze.
