and any band or individual that invited us to play a show, rocked with us, came out to a show, made/modeled/bought our merch, danced for us, sang/screamed along, or ate at dennys with us.
Okay, Paul was a unique six-piece hardcore act, skillfully blending hardcore, grind and dance music.
Formed in October of '06 only as an answer to the desperate call of a friend in need of a band for a booked show, the band did not begin to take itself seriously until January-February of '07. While constantly evolving and improving as musicians, Okay, Paul took on venues, crowds, and fellow bands without relent or remorse and a loyal fan base grew slowly but surely. They always aspired to pushed their and others expectations as well as tried to provoke innovativeness, showmanship and camaraderie. After over a year of the ever so cliche blood sweat and tears, Okay, Paul played their last show on August 8, 2008.
Although they are currently still planning on recording and releasing an album of all their new material, they are not playing anymore shows and will officially be disbanded after recording.
Some of us are straightedge, some of us smoke and drink.
Some of us are christian, some of us are agnostic.
Some of us are vegetarian, some of us love chicken.
Some of us are republican, some of us are liberal.
Some of us are white, some of us are hispanic.
Some of us are in college, some of us are in high school.
Some of us have beards, the rest of us wish we did.
We do not classify our band by anything other than our music
and would appreciate if you did the same.
DISCOGRAPHY:

In late March we recorded an eight-track demo with some crappy analog equipment titled 30-Minute Homicide but due to poor quality, never officially released it. Our debut album, One Blue Ox Short Of a Legend was officially released September 22, 2007.
We are proud and excited to have recorded "OBOSOAL" at Screaming Fish Studio so make sure you check out their page as well if you have some recordings you would like to get done at a more than reasonable rate, or if you just want to hear some of the other artists that have recorded there!
