About Me

Just an "Ordinary Average Guy" as so simply stated by Joe Walsh, and I wouldn't ever change a thing!
I have an ongoing passion for photography which I've had for the last 28 years. Most of my earlier work involved landscapes, storms, automobiles, aircraft, and coastal views.
Presently, I have been finding great joy in working with models and have striven to capture natural expressions rather than the obvious and artificial posed ones. I am also very excited about creating a network of local people that can collaborate together to inspire and compel one another in creating some truly beautiful images both in studio and on location using the natural beauty of the central coast.
I am willingly committed to assisting local men and women that are interested in beginning a career in the modeling industry by offering TFCD(time in exchange for CD) photo shoots to provide them with high quality, high resolution digital images that they can use in the development of their portfolio.
I will also work TFCD with anyone that can contribute to my portfolio and future web site. So, being a model or having model experience is not a prerequisite. I will provide you with a CD of high quality, high resolution images for the cost of your time and effort. So, what are you waiting for? I would love to hear from you!

My Interests

I am a self taught freelance photographer. My actual photographic experience started with a Pentax K1000 in 1979, then I graduated to a Pentax ME Super in 1982, but my parents had always kept my hands full with off the shelf cameras since I was old enough to frame a subject and trip a shutter release and I have now been taking composed photographs for over 28 years.

I have lived on the central coast of California since 1957, and I am very familiar with some of the best locations for taking photographs using the natural beauty of the Central Coast.

My focus will be to shoot Portraits, Swimsuit, Pin-up, Fashion, Glamour, Boudoir, Maternity, Tatoos, Custom Requests and Themed Shoots also!

Just about a little of everything. With over 800 DVD titles in my collection, I would definitely say I like movies. My favorites are Horror and psychological thrillers that use your own fears to frighten you.

Television:

The Sci-Fi Channel, The History Channel, AMC, IFC,The Comedy Channel, and that's about it. My nearly never missed show is Sci-Fi channel's "Ghost Hunters"

Heroes:

All the too-few, devoted individuals, who do the daily hands-on work with Developmentally Disabled and Autistic children and adults.
