Michael Savenay aka dj MiKEL was born on the 11th of august 1986 in Bilzen (B). Music was always his biggest passion. In the beginning he bought mix tapes from local deejays. When he started to go out, he gets interested in mixing the records. With a second-hand mixer, two regular cd-players and the alter ego Dj Mike-L, he took charge of the music and he immediately lost his heart to beat. When he was 16, he realized that dj-ing with vinyl was more his thing. With the money he earned by playing on local parties he slowly expanded his deejay material en his record collection. He bought a new pioneer mixer and a couple of technics. Barely one half-year later, Michael got the opportunity to do his thing as guest deejay at club called Barabar. At this time, this was a very popular club. A couple of months later he became his first residency. At Club Delite he has the chance to acquire a lot of experience whereby he got more and more bookings.
