The main thing about me is that I live and die for music!
I'm a singer and bass-player for the deathrock-project 'H | INSANE', I started with Serena Fate as 'hypocrisy insane' in September 2006!
I gained my experience having been involved into several quite unknown projects as a singer, songwriter, guitarist or bass-player during the last 15 years!I feel right at home in the deathrock-scene for music, attitude (as far as there still is one today apart from 'conform looking') and events, but that's not the only facet of my life. I like variety and I try to live it!
I'm a very passionate person and I believe everything created with passion keeps it somewhere in the inside and you can feel and see that in the result!
------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------------------As some people (who I even know in real life) seem to think music is something quite new in my life, here some words about my musical past, for those who are interested in:
Fascinated by bands from Pink Floyd, The Who, Prince or the Rolling Stones to Helloween and Guns'n'Roses I passionatly wanted to play electric guitar from the age of 12. I started to learn acoustic guitar and finally got my first e-guitar - an original kramer pacer custom II - aged 15. That year I joined my first band as a rythm guitarist and backing vocalist.
Two years later I applied as a lead singer for Borderline, a classic-rock cover band - they accepted me and I stayed with 'em for 5 years.
During that time I was involved into an acoustic-guitar-ensemble as classic-solo-vocalist and guitar-player and further into a soul-band as a background singer. For many years I was member of a chamber-choir.
In 2000 I founded an Independent Band called MoreRed with some friends as a lead-singer and lead-guitarist. For that band I started writing lyrics and I was responsible for the songwriting.
In 2005 I was a lead-singer for One Way, a blues rock band.
Finally I founded H|Insane with Serena Fate in 2006 and changed from guitar to bass as we were just two band-members and she's a real guitar-goddess! :-) But I still love and play my guitar!
Gained experience in all those different styles of music over the years my voice got trained to sound in various ways. If you listen to this screechy death-rock-voice I partly use in H|Insane it's not because my voice simply sounds like that, but because I consciously use it as a stylistic device for that kind of music.
Since 2008 I'm attending a professional vocal trainig at the local music academy and believe it or not - I'm also able to sound very well as a classic alto!
