Traditional Music of Beech Mountain

More to Come...

About Me

The ridges and hollows of Beech Mountain stretch across the border of Avery and Watauga County in Western North Carolina to the Tennessee border. The rugged landscape and tightly knit communties on and around the Beech have created a unique and long lasting style of traditional Appalachian Music known especially for unaccompanied singing and the homemade dulcimer and fretless banjo.
