Metaphonic is a solo project of Markus Appel, which had its origin in 2000. Markus started DJing at the end of the eighties when he developed Acid House and through it his love to electronic music. Because Acid House had only a short period of time he kept on DJing because of the upcoming techno scene which he enjoyed a lot. After he lived through most of the different techno styles, he considered Ambient, Electro and Psytrance as the best. In the mid-nineties he got the opportunity to produce his own music with two friends in their own little studio. This home studio was closed after 5 years. Markus did not want to quit producing therefore he kept on since then with his own project Metaphonic.
Metaphonic ist ein Solo-Projekt von Markus Appel, dass im Jahre 2000 ins Leben gerufen wurde. Angefangen hat Markus ende der 80er mit den DJ'ing als er Acid House entdeckte und somit die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik ihren Lauf nahm. Nachdem Acid House leider schnell verbluehte blieb er beim DJ’ing und der sich neu bildenden Techno-Musik, die er voll und ganz genoss. Nachdem er die meisten Techno-Stillrichtungen durchlebt hat, blieb er bei Ambient, Electro und Psytrance haengen. Mitte der 90er Jahre ergab sich dann die Moeglichkeit selbst Musik zu produzieren und mit 2 Freunden wurde ein kleines Home-Studio realisiert, welches aber nach 5 Jahren wieder aufgeloest wurde. Auf das Produzieren wollte Markus dann nicht mehr verzichten und hat dann das Solo-Projekt Metaphonic gegruendet.
