Hey, How's it going..?
I'm a drummer/percussionist based in Adelaide, SA. Currently I'm playing in the Heather Frahn Trio. I'm a tech studies/music teacher...
I started mucking around with drums when I was 2 and was taking my first lessons at 7 years of age. My first few years of playing had a strong rudimental focus, playing the snare drum in a pipe band. Over the past 20 or so years I have won a heap of State Championships and also the Australian National Championships.
During my high school years I got to tour a bit, playing at the Sydney Opera House, and also toured Japan playing in Tokyo and Osaka. Over this time I got to play with jazz legends Don Burrows and Mark Ferguson. They were pretty cool times for a 15 year old!!
Since then I've done a heap of other work, played in LaRusso (supported Sarah Blasko, 2002) and The Borderers (played to 30,000 people at Carols by Candlelight, 2005). I'm doing a heap of touring over the next 12 months, with the Heather Frahn Trio, so keep an eye out for us!
