About Me

My name is Daniel, or Daneil(that "i" before "e" shit,..never bought it), I am a short story writer.

I am now legally a Reverend thanks to a well spent five minutes on the internet. If you want to get married I can marry you, that is I can perform the ceremony, not actually wed myself to you...I don't even know you, that'd be weird.

I find that triangular foods are the best.

I often find myself taking care of lamp, whom my brother used to love.

You may be asking yourself, "Why is there is a picture of Shakespeare on your profile, wouldn't that make you Daniel the Playwright?" My answer is this: I write short stories, and through a series of rather unremarkable, yet, nonetheless, very consequential events, for which I might add, I bear little to none of the fault, I have come to look exactly, in every detail, to assume the resemblance of one William Shakespeare, that "Bard of Avon", dead 393 years this April 23rd, 2009. In fact, if it were possible that at this moment our two likenesses should be captured and viewed side by side, twin brothers we should surely be thought! This presumption would prove to be erroneous as neither my bloodline permits no relation to the aforementioned scribe, nor does his to mine. Yet alike we seem!
As in looks we cannot avoid this plight,

but he for the Globe - short stories I write!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

No one. Because, "True love is hard to find, sometimes you think you have true love and then you catch the early flight home from San Diego and a couple of nude people jump out of your bathroom blindfolded like a goddamn magic show ready to double team your girlfriend... " or something like that.

Rejection 2

Well, another rejection slip has arrived.  This one from The Cimarron Review.  It doesn't quite have the charm of the first, but what this does mean is that I am fast approaching my goal of ...

I’m on my way!

I received my first rejection letter last week. I am expecting many more but the first one is nice. The Alaska Quarterly Review is the first journal to say, "Hey, thanks for sending us unsolicited w...
