The Harries

The Harries som 4 amics que portem tocant junts des dels 15 anys. Hem passat per varis estils i noms (No Drop, Mayday...) però les ganes són les mateixes que al principi. Durant aquest temps hem estat tocant principalment per l'Empordà, la nostra terra, però també hem fet algun concertillo per Barcelona, Girona, Badalona... i els que encara queden per venir! Després de molts esforços, l'any 2006 vam gravar la nostra primera maqueta de 3 temes, i ara l'únic que volem és continuar tocant esperant poder gravar un bon disc en un futur no tan llunyà. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- The Harries somos 4 amigos que llevamos tocando juntos desde los 15 años. Hemos pasado por varios estilos y nombres (No Drop, Mayday...) pero las ganas de tocar son las mismas que al principio. Durante este tiempo hemos estado tocando por el Empordá, nuestra tierra, pero tambien hemos hecho algun conciertillo por Barcelona, Girona, Badalona... y los que aún quedan por venir! Después de muchos esfuerzos, en el año 2006 grabamos nuestra primera maqueta de 3 temas, y ahora lo único que queremos es seguir tocando esperando poder grabar un disco en un futuro no tan lejano. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- We began to play like most of the rural bands (yes, a lot of bands are rural and they don't even know it!), cause of the boredom of our town. It was 02's summer, and our first show as power trio (named No Drop) was one year after 9-11. Some time after that, we joined another lead guitar, and we became Mayday. But our current name is The Harries. Since then we have been doing gigs now and then, learning a lot and most of all having fun hanging around with friends, picks and drumsticks. Being rural turns us on a lot, one day it will you too, when rural forest shows will happen all over the country. Time will say if its just a craze.Everybody will be rural... ...when the time of empty fridges.By the way, we've got a demo cd with 3 tracks out since April 2006.
