About Me

Airs on The CW on Thursays 9/8 centrual ABOUT THE SHOW: McG and the WB describe the show as a fusion between 'The X-files' and 'Route 66'. The show revolves around the story of one family and their relationship with the Supernatural. Two brothers named Sam and Dean witnessed the mysterious and supernatural murder of their mother when they were just boys. They along with their father survived and vowed to track down their mother's killer. Growing up the boys learned weaponry and everything there was to know about ghosts, spirits and how to kill them. Their father would often go on "hunting" trips during which he would track down some some ghost or urban legend in order to get closer to his wife's killer. Eventually the boys were incorporated into this lifestyle. However, Sam, the younger brother, wanted a fresh start and left the family "bussiness" behind for Stanford University which was thousands of miles from home. This departure caused a rift between Sam and his brother and father. After four years of separation Dean unexpectedly visits Sam to tell him that their father has gone missing. Sam reluctantly joins Dean in a quest to find their father as well as their mother's killer. Most of the show centers on the boys as they travel the country tracking down various supernatural leads on their way to finding their parents. The show was created by Joseph McGinty Nichol A.K.A. "McG". He is the genius that brought us 'Fastlane' (which was WAY under-rated), 'The O.C.'(like it or hate it), and also Charlies Angel's Full Throttle. He is done a BUNCH of stuff and tends to focus on the younder audience demographic. He is quite simply good at what he does. Dean Winchester was born on January 24, 1979. He loves his car, a black four-door 1967 Chevrolet Impala. He is a fan of classic rock music, including Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, AC/DC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Rush, Blue Öyster Cult, and Kansas. He always wears a long black cloth band necklace with a brass amulet[1] attached, it is unknown what the necklace represents but it is shown to be very important to Dean. Ackles claimed it's an Egyption protective amulet in an early interview for the show, but this has been yet to be proved in an episode.Early in his life, his father trained him to hunt demons. He took to the job, thus he has several notable advantages for a human: He's an exceptional shot, such as when he makes a one-handed headshot in the season finale of season 1. He has knowledge beyond the norm about the supernatural, augmented by having his father's journal. Also, he seems to have some proficiency with melee weapons and is a skilled fighter. It's unclear whether there's some styling to his hand-to-hand techniques or if it's just something he's picked up in his work. When Dean was four years old, his mother was killed in his little brother's room. Twenty-two years later, The Demon responsible for their mother's death kills Sam's girlfriend, Jessica Moore. Together, they go on a road trip to fend off supernatural creatures and search for their father, who occasionally leaves new missions for his sons to complete. The season finale concluded with Sam, Dean, and their father, John, escaping from a clash with "The Demon" in Salvation, Iowa. While Sam was driving to a hospital after Dean and John got hurt, a demonically possessed driver drove his truck into the Impala, causing massive damage to the car and the Winchesters inside. All three of the Winchesters survived the wreck . In the first episode of Season 2, entitled "In My Time of Dying", Dean is in a coma and a reaper, Tessa, tries to convince him to die. In order to save him, John makes a deal with "The Demon". Before he dies, John whispers something in Dean's ear which the audience cannot hear. Dean struggles with the death of his father, as well as the knowledge that he should have died instead. Also knowing what was whispered to him from his father slowly tears him apart but later on Dean will reveal what John told him: if Dean can not save Sam, he must kill him. His concerns now are towards his brother, even though he doesn't show it, that he might just one day kill his brother if the Demon gets to him. Even Sam makes him promise to kill him if he does change, which puts more pressure on Dean.ABOUT JENSEN ACKLES: (AKA- Dean Winchester) Birthname: Jensen Ross Ackles D.O.B: 03-01-1978 Height: 6'1 Jensen Ackles was born in Dallas, Texas to Roger Alan Ackles and Donna Joan Shaffer.
