I'm a NE girl stuck in Colorado surrounded by chain restaurants, strip malls and way too many Subarus. Luckily, I think our days here in land-locked Rocky Mountain High are numbered. Usually, the weather is great and the people are sometimes cool if not a lot more friendly than they are in crusty old New England. It's sometimes hard being from where I'm from out here because people don't get me, but whateva! I'm a marketing coordinator at an engineering consulting firm. I travel a fair amount for my job and even though I might not be able to tell you about the cities I've visited, I can certainly describe the local Hyatt or Omni or convention center and even some of the things I see on the cab ride there from the airport. I love what I do and if I'm lucky, I'll get my wish next summer and I won't have to look for a new job. We've got 3 cats and a dog (our 4 legged children), Sophie, Speck, Sadie and Shadow. And also, having survived a year with me for a his mother a beautiful (and spoiled) toddler who makes me laugh every day. I swear I've kissed that little guy more than I've ever kissed anyone ever.
