Dj Gury starts his career at the age of 16 at the Disco “18 K” 1989 – Starts as the resident DJ in one of Lisbon’s most iconic dancing bars - “Archote” 1990/91 – Resident DJ for the disco “O Quatro” 1992 – Disco “Primorosa de Alvalade” and Special Guest DJ for the disco “Ad Lib” 1993/95 – Resident DJ for the disco “Sky Lab” whilst at the same time initiates his own radio programme called “Mais Mix” at the radio channel “Mais” 1996 - Special Guest DJ for the inauguration of the disco “Mam’s Club” 1997 – Resident DJ at the disco “Infinito” in Portalegre 1998 – Resident DJ in one of Lisbon’s most popular partying areas – Bairro Alto, becoming the resident DJ in two prominent discos, “Sudueste” and “La Folie”. 1999/00 – Resident DJ at the disco “Exclusivo”, in Palmela 2000/02 – Special Guest DJ in dance parties nationwide, for the Music Store Music Power. 2003/04 – Resident DJ for the disco “Sem Norte” in one of Lisbon’s best known dance scenes – Expo - , and guest DJ for Music Power dance parties. Initiates collaboration with the dancing bar “Statvs”as the resident DJ. 2004 – Starts collaborating with the Music Store Music Power and becomes the resident DJ for the discos “Via In” and “Bar Estado Liquido” in Santarém at the same time Collaborates with another radio channel “radio 100” in a custom made House Music programme. 2005 – Returns as the resident DJ to the bar “Statvs” in Lisbon’s Expo area, where you can still find him today!
