About Me

Henry O. Adkins is an Inspirational Speaker and author of “Life Lessons Common Sense: Your Way To Success,” and “Common Sense Parents/Raising Great Kids.” He conducts lectures and workshops across the United States.He has worked for thirty years in Social and Community Services. Mr. Adkins Directed a City-wide Homeless Ministry in the City of Dallas for five years, and worked for several more years in Social Services Ministry. He has worked for 30 years as an Adjunct College Professor, a College Administrator, a Federal Government Administrator, and he is a Viet Nam era U.S. Army Veteran.He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Dallas Baptist University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. He received his Certification as a Family Development Specialist from the University of Iowa.
