I first got into mixing back in 89/90 after a short lesson from a good mate (Lee Tristram). Within a year I went on to play a couple of local pirate stations and various under 18's events throughout Kent.
It was playing at these events which led me to play at a few of the most well known clubs in Kent back then, Slammers in Gravesend, The Crest Cub in Leysdown & Club Vogue in Sittingbourne. By getting plays at these venues I started getting on the same line ups as DJ's like Hype, Rap, Kenny Ken and Dr S Gachet among others.
It was from gaining a good rep here that I got my first play and residency at the mighty Atomics for Pure Science along with regular bookings at Heat on the legendary Hasting Pier.
From about 96-2000 I was pretty busy playing most weekends at the most well known clubs and venues in Kent, London and surrounding counties. I also ventured abroad during this time to Germany.
Over the past few years I have taken a back seat when it comes to playing out, picking and choosing where and who to play for. I have ventured to Madrid and Ibiza in recent years. You can mostly catch me playing at old skool sets these days although I am still into and play DnB.
