I remember the old mixtape djs back in the mid '80s. I always was fascinated with mixing songs and how it was done. Back then there was no Serato or Final Scratch. All you had was your Technics 1200s and your tank of a mixer by Radio Shack with your heavy crates of wax. I tried to emulate the underground mix dj's using my Dad's all in one stereo from K-Mart-you know the one with the cassette tape deck, FM stereo, and turntable all fused in one. I still remember trying to scratch on 1 turntable with just the rotary fader knob right before I went to school in the morning. Well, it's been well over 20 yrs now(damn I'm old) and I still got love for mixing and scratching and trick mixing. Things really haven't changed passion-wise but the soul in music has seemed to disappear. That's why I want to bring back that feeling via mixes and beats. That is why I am here... I am the DJ.[LOVEMYFLASH]
