prelude:since a two month break from jazzfiends (every last sunday), i've been receiving messages from friends and fans alike who've been asking me what happened to jazzfiends on sundays? well, i ended up taking a two month break to produce two eclectic music events with down-to-earth friends of mine who share a deep passion and love for music. besides working with these amazing djs and fellow avid music enthusiasts something still didn't feel quite right. i missed seeing people get together on a sunday evening for wonderful conversation over drinks (be it alcohol or tea), hearing amazing music that is never played or rarely heard, and dancing freely with soul. this is the alternative to the ever present san francisco night life scene. i knew from that point on it was time to take it back to the roots. this is where my heart & soul resides... and so it's come to this. the rebirth of Jazzfiends... last Sunday sessions. creating change and moving forward.
