Michelle Burks

Michelle Burks was born and raised in Southern California. Studied Classical Piano at age 6. And started writing music at age 8. At age 12 She studied the bass guitar. At age 14 she started singing and joined choirs in Jr. high, High School and college. Later She joined a band by the name of Pesante’ out of which another band was formed by the name of Michelle Burks and friends in which she sang lead with a primarily Latin flavor. They played locally in Pasadena, Ca at various Restaurants. Then she joined a band by the name of Freefall {smooth Jazz} where she played bass and sang background. Michelle started this project 3 years ago, and is glad to present it to the world. This music was created especially for people who enjoy Smooth jazz and Bossa Novas.
